My oil temps are about 200-220f on the track. I run non synthetic 10W-30. My JDM car has dual front oil coolers.

It will depend on ambient temps and your water temps. In the summer, I was seeing 200-220F with stock single cooler in city driving. Track temps were 250-260F! My dual 25-row upgrade dropped temps about 40F.

I'd seriously worry about any water temp over 205/210 or oil temp over 250 for more than a short duration. I consider normal operating oil temp for me to be 195-230 (non-track/non-autocross). [stock dual-oil coolers]

Yep, I just took my car to the track and was seeing oil temps (sender in oil pan) around 220-240 for the better part of a 20 minute session... then towards the end it would creep up to 260 and I'd back off... a lap or two later it would go back to 220 or so. But I'd have elevated water temps (running around 90-95 C from PFC, about 210 F from thermostat housing) for two laps. Stock, single oil cooler, properly ducted, with some bent fins Running 20W-50 dino oil. Ambient temps were around 65 F, which is pretty cool. On the street I see temps around 200 or so F. Running 10 psi boost stock non-seq turbos.

One comment I want to make is how quickly the oil temp gauge reacted to boost/load. when my foot went down, I could practically see the needle moving up, and when I was off the gas the needle would very visibly move down! The water temp seems to trail the oil by a good bit, only after the oil temp went up would the water follow suit--and it would follow slowly and be a little more constant. I consider the oil temp reading to be critical in knowing how much heat your motor is rejecting/retaining. If you see that thing go up and stay up, take it easy!

This was addressed in an older thread. Please search oil temp and my name as I posted an extracted on temperature information from Mazda Motorsport.

So i have the same setup for the oil sender, respeed pedestal with defi oil temp gauge sender mounted there. Now so far this summer in 85 degree weather, my temp reads 75 - 82 C city driving and 70 - 75 C highway.

Why are mine so low compared to everyone elses?

My water temps are usually 80C highway and 80-88C city btw.

My set-up:
Stock dual oil coolers with dual remote oil filters.
Rotary Extreme regular V-Mount.
