Oil pressure always high

Oil pressure always high
My oil pressure is always high (8 kg/cm2) when driving at any speed.
I know the stock oil gauge is POS but I think the sensor for that is defective so were do I have to check for that? Where is the sensor?
Could it be something else that could cause high oil pressure?
