oil leak in my rx7

hey guys i have a 93 single turbo rx7 and i have a really small oil leak from under the car and i cant seem to pinpoint wheres its from. i took off the transmission heat shield and there was some oil sitting in it...and then i started the car and then turned it off and about 3 hours later there was 9 small drops of oil on the floor. I think its the rear main oil seal but its not a lot of oil thats leaking and normally it constantly drips when its the rear main oil seal. So give me some suggestions guys on how to fix...thanks and peace out

Maybe it is the oil pan gasket?

I did my oil pan gasket recently and it still leaks, I guess the next item on my list to fix or replace is my stock twins with 112k on them. But they still sound good and boost fine at least until recently I only get 4 psi. I think I have a boost leak though.

Oil pan gasket where the motor mounts are attached. Next time use an oil pan brace. It's 0.25 inches thick, and does a great job equalizing the torque along the 17 10-mm bolts around the oil pan. No more oil pan leaks. You'll need slightly longer 10-mm flange bolts, and motor mount bolts.

I had a small leak from under the oil filter, it trickled down the neck and onto the floor. Check around the oil pressure sender and oil filter.

Check the front cover. Common place for the motor to leak and expensive to fix. I fixed my pan but it didn't fix my leak. You can clean up the motor, put in some fluoro dye in the oil, drive it, then check with a light...

using dye is how Mazda does it. Do it just before an oil change (so you're dumping out the oil with the dye in it).

motor mounts.... maybe

If you've changed motor mounts recently the oem drivers side is aluminum and passenger side is steel. I went ahead and bought a steel one for the drivers side but their is one tiny little difference. Their is a nipple like pertrusion on the aluminum one that makes contact with the oil pan and I guess presses on it a little and without it, it eventually will start to leak....from what iI heard. I've recently solved the problem by drilling and tapping into the block and added an extra 10mm bolt. Not fun at all but it worked like a charm. That stainless steel oil pan reinforcement looks great too. I wish I would have known about that........owell. Also check to be sure your motor mounts are torqed to the correct factory specs not by hand.

hey wassup? I'm also in the club too, got me an oil leak coming from where my turbos are but can't figure it out, I had it up on the lift and its looks like its coming from the feed line, that silver bulky oil line that goes on the turbos.
