Oil Leak but only when nearly full?

What type of leak would show up only when the oil level is near max?

After an oil change or adding oil, there is a distinct dripping on the floor. But when the oil level is down maybe a quart, hardly any drops?

Just wondering if there are certain leaks that would only show up at the higher oil levels.

Thanks

Most likely it's just a standard oil pan seal leak.

At what oil level is oil in the pan "below" the top of the pan where it might be leaking as it sits?

Thanks

Are u parking on a flat surface?
i would have to second the motion of "a standard oil pan leak" . Slide under the car to find out for sure. Look for the highest wet spot.

Pretty sure the oil level is never above the pan itself when full. u can tell this if u have ever had your oil pan off with the dip stick in. it would make sense in your case though.

if it is leaking from below the top of the pan it would have to be either the low oil level sensor, drain plug or a crack in the pan.
