Oil leak

I have an oil leak on the passenger side and i don't no where its coming from. The last few times I've driven my car theirs been a puddle about the size of a basketball. Any suggestions would help i don't want to go ahead and start pulling stuff apart.

welcome to rotary ownership. i think 90% of the rx7s on the road have at least a small oil leak coming form somewhere

could be coming from anywhere...i don't think anyone can give you an answer without seeing the car, or photos at the very least.

could be the oil pan, the turbo oil feed/return line(s), etc.

you're best bet is to clean off those areas, drive the car for a little white, and then check to see exactly where its leaking from. make sure to keep an eye on the oil level (keep it topped off) until you find where the leak is coming from.

you might have to re-seal your oil pan if it's coming from there...if you do, make sure you get the pan & motor as clean as possible, use plenty of RTV, and install it with an oil pan brace if you can get your hands on one.

next time try searching. you have only 16 posts yet you've started 5 threads already? you need to spend more time searching, as these are all common questions, instead of just jumping to create a new thread. hell, right now there's a thread on oil leaks posted right at the top of this forum. why not contribute to that thread instead of starting a new one?

As theorie mentioned, there is more than one possible source, but your describing a major leak. Something I wouldn't procrastinate about.
Since gravity works to pull oil down, your going to have to get under the car and follow the trail...as best you can, up.
