Is oil inside intercooler normal?

I think my turbos are leaking. What do you think?

Oil in the IC is normal. Unless your total oil usage is more than 1 qt per 1500 miles of normal driving, no problem maan.

Depeods on how much oil you are talking about. If it is a lot, then no, that isn't normal. If it was just a bit you should be fine. Are the turbos showing any other signs of wear?

That is completely normal, nothing to worry about man!

Unless, like the others have said. If you have a large amount of oil in there that is another story. If you are just dumping oil in there believe me, you would know, because you would be smoking like a mad man.

It's normal...they actually had and article in OPTIONS magazine about cleaning out your IC because of oil build up. It happends in all turbo cars.

it's just a small amount. i had a 87 grand national before this car and had a similar problem. Thanks.
BTW, i cleaned my intercooler with carb cleaner then washed it out with water then let it drain and dry overnight. Car runs fine.

The turbo seals expand and contract with hot and cold air... and with boost....It means the seals are worn, but everything is worn unless it's brand new, no wories... JUST dont be surprised if you get a single or a turbo overhaul in the next couple months.....
