Oil flowing out of 2nd PCV line

I bought a 93 3rdgen about a month ago and took it apart the day after I got it and did a bunch of mods/upgrades. I noticed during this process that the second PCV line was capped so I uncapped it and added a trap to it before the intake like I saw on Robinette's site.

Since I haven't hooked my intake filter back up I just left the hose hanging with the trap on the end thinking that the amount of oil that will come out of there is very small. Well I finally started my car (Yes! it started up after a month of me tinkering on it! BTW Vac is at 18 and the idle settled down to a very smooth 1100 rpms!) and as the PFC was going through its initial learning phase I was looking around the engine bay and noticed that the oil catch was completely full of oil and oil was dripping out of the open end to the floor fairly quickly. The oil catch I used is about 2 times as big as the one in the picture and the oil left a spot about 6 inches in diameter on my garage floor in about 5 min (so I estimate about 5 ounces of oil out it in 5 min). So I pulled the hose off and capped it temporarily. My question is why? Even if that valve is bad should it dump that much oil out that line? What happens if I keep it capped? The engine has about 1000 miles on it and I am assuming that it has been capped the whole time. There are several weird things about the way this engine was put back together by the previous owner. This is a single turbo conversion with a complete block-off plate job and I removed everything that I could.

Thanks,
Shawn

I forgot to mention that I removed the 1st PCV line between the oil filler and the manifold like was shown on Robinette's site (so I guess there is not even a valve in the equation-just a line from the oil filler to the intake). This line is supposed to be a "blow-by gas ventilation". Do I have too much oil in the car. I changed the oil and added 4 quarts back and checked the level and it is right at full according to the dipstick. Is it possible the leak would stop after it equalizes the crankcase pressure? Should I let it idle with the catch back on and see how much oil comes out? I am glad that I didnt have it hooked to the intake to start with, I would imagine dumping an ounce a minute of oil into the turbo would not have been good ("like what is all of this smoke from?")
