oil filters - UK

Hi all,

anyone in the UK can help me obtaining a genuine rx7 fd oil filter? or perhaps a part number to look for.

I see so many aftermarket ones or oem quality ones - but the consensus seems to be that the originals are the best.

I cant seem to find any though.

The ONE that i found on ebay sold and was £15

Most others are about £4-8 anyone have any recommendations

I have no qualms about using non OEM ones. if you want OEM, just go to Mazda. Same as a MK1/2 MX5 IIRC. HOF257 in Halfords I think.

the FD filter is the same as the miata, and the 03-08 Rx8, and a bunch of other Mazda's.

the 9A suffix is for the US market only, its Mazda usa's code for an aftermarket supplier.

I've been using the HKS something-something pink oil filters for quite some time now. Probably 2 years plus.
I find they are perfectly reasonable and work well as an alternative to OEM.

Also, have used the K&N filters (with the hex nut on the end) before that. They are good too, but the HKS looks to be a better design and the quality seems much better.
