Oil filler neck

I wanted to build me a oil filler neck and I am not sure where to get the threaded part where the cap goes.

If anyone has any info on this I would appreciate it.

Here is what I found, but I don't know if this will work.

you can use anything you want if youre custom building an oil fill tube. as long as there is a flange that will bolt to the lower piece on the block, there shouldnt be any problems.

yeah i have ways to make the flanges and also he piping. I just wanted to see what the threads on the factory cap were just in case I can offer these up to members for a cheap price. I don't want to use a universal thread and then a specific cap would only be available.

why not just buy one from one of the vendors here?

Maybe the cost is a factor, but I couldnt be happier with Respeeds filler =)

I have not see the filler neck on their site nor the flange. Yeah the cost is def not right for me. I can weld aluminum so I am not paying a shop to charge me over 100 bucks just for the weld job. They sell their filler neck for $170 and don't get me wrong the quality is amazing, but I have to justify the purchase of my miller tig machine :-)

If anyone can point me in the right direction as to where to buy the filler neck threaded cap or what are the specs of the factory one, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank in advance to you all :-)

I posted a GB link. I am sure you can click on it, and then PM the OP and ask him about that.

Like allrotor93 stated, he will sell you just the inlet and flange.

The user name: RE-speed.com

You can get them from Summit or Pegasus as well.

Here's the one I came up with...forgot to take a pic of it when finished. It extends forward to clear the strut bar.

Oh I don't know the thread size for the stock cap. I just used the cap that came w/ the neck. Maybe someone else can chime in.
