"Oil"? ... Dyno, Synthetic or two stroke?

Has anyone ever tried two stoke motorcycle oil?
From my research, oil is injected with the gas and you burn about 1/2 a quart per tank fillup (similar to a two stroke motorcycle).

The manual says do "NOT" use sythetic and so does the dealer.
Race shops...
Rotary Rilability uses strait 50 wieght oil only.
Tri-Point uses only Red Line sythetic and claims it ok for rotary.
Racing Beat suggests Royal Purple Synthetic but claims it burns clean and does not leave carbon buildup on the seals which is the resoning of not using sythetic.
Pettit Racing sugests Protek fuel lubricant (you add oil to the gas tank per fillup...isn't that what you used to do with dirt bikes?)

So far my solution is change oil (20/50 Dyno') every 1500mi and add protek with every tank, oh and use K&N oil filters.

Anyone else just as confused as me or have a better solution, suggestion, similar experiance...etc?

Talking Sorry to old timers

I guess this could get annoying after a while but i've only owned my '94 (touring) for a week now. It took me two months of research before I purchased though.
Thanks GSXR1000 for the link (to previous thread). I found another link for the other newbies...

So I think the solution is strait 50 weight race oil, changed every 1,500mi and add a second oil cooler.
