Just cut the stock hard lines where they banjo to the engine. Then tap the banjo for an AN fitting. Then just run your SS lines.

I will be doing it, but it's not done yet. Others have done it (as I'm not the first ), but I never saw any pics.

Has anyone put their own oil cooler kit themselves? I mean picked up some aftermarket coolers, thermostat, and lines, and put them together. Maybe its me but the proces for these oil kits seem a little high. Cheers

I'm doing that now.

The price is cheaper, but not by a whole lot. What you save in money, you more than double in time and effort (unless your day job is being a fabricator). There are two main things to overcome:

1. Oil lines. How to connect the aftermarker cooler/t-stat to the engine
2. Mounting brackets. How to mount the cooler and t-stat

If fabbing brackets and oil line connecters is something you want to do, then it's a project for you. But if you have to post on the forum to ask how to do it, then just buy a kit and save yourself a headache.

I have a new RE dual oil cooler kit for sale. Not going tracking with the car, so will not be installing.

7racer, Thanks for that info..

ptrhahn, Nice diagram.. also, thank you!

I guess I'll find out when I get the CWR coolers..

If you buy Chuck's kit, I can guarantee excellent customer support -- although I won't say Chuck will come to your house , I will say that he is reachable by phone/email and is happy to help.
Where do I find Chuck's kit ? Is it the Rotary Extreme kit ?
