oil change problems

so , every time i change the oil on this thing she wants to mess up, so heres whats going on, so i changed the oil, only second time doing it with this car, waited way to long, april was last change i think, i put castrol gtx 20w 50 in it like usuall, now it runs like a bag of poo. it idles lower, and not as smooth, no power anymore, keeps popping, i had an issue last night with the sparks plugs agian, waiting on new ones to get here. so basially its running slow, even under boost, i took out and cleaned the spark plugs on the rear rotor, it would start then just die, the plugs were all fouled up, i probably need to clean the ones on the first rotor, my question is could this have something to do with the oil change did i not do it right? is there a special dance or some ting im supposed to do?

im kinda car stupid, im way better with computers but heres the info on my car

93 fd, black on black, 110,000 km, mostly stock except for some intake thats getting replaced if/when i go single. im stationed in okinawa japan so its hot and this is the only car i got.

Start by checking the MAP sensor and it's associated vacuum line. It's near the oil filter and very easy to knock off when you are changing the filter.

Maybe double check that you haven't crossed plug wires and that they're on all the way. I can't imagine chaning the oil is the direct cause of your problems.

Yeah...I have read thru this post a few times and just don't get it. The o.p. says, "Every time I change my oil my car runs poorly...", but then offers no information on what was done to make it run RIGHT again, until the next oil change....where it "***** up again.

Lots of people knock off the map sensor because the oil filter is within the area of it.

However if the OP had this problem before, im sure he knows to check the map sensor.

There has to be another problem.

no im pretty sure the oil change isnt the source its just that **** breaks when ever i change the oil, so yeah the title miss leading sorry. The first time the radiator started leaking right after the change as in i start the car and then notice a giant puddle of green **** on the floor, fix action was replace with new radiator. so far ive took care of this last night and shes running good but not great:

i took out all the plugs, scrub then clean with carb cleaner and a wire brush and put them back in, and unpluged and repluggd the map sensor, now she'll start. but the power still isnt what it was before, and shes doing this thing which is pretty weird. Ill have her in say 2nd gear and going steady at around 2200 rpm which is like 40ish clicks and its not smooth it feels like it starts to accerate for a sec then back off, but i dont see any change in rpm or speed, it does this in 2nd and 3rd, i dont use 4th or 5th out here much so i cant tell you about those.

also i had a issue before when i had my ac checked were the plugs got fouled up and i had to clean them, i got new on order but i gotta make due for now. so im pretty sure theres an issue with why the plugs are being fouled. i think the car is running rich, cant say for sure since i dont have a wideband, but is sure as hell smells like it. what are some of the things that cause fouled up plugs?

Check your TPS then.

Thats ALSO in way of the oil filter so it could be possible that maybe your TPS screws were kinda loose and you knocked it out of range when you stuck your hand for the oil filter.

Even if you dont remember hitting it, i would check the values of the TPS readings anyway. It sounds like this could be the reason for your troubles.
