How long to go before changing it? 2500 miles or less

How long to go before adding more?? I think it's 1 qt per 1000-1500 miles because of the turbos consuming oil, could be wrong though.

What light comes on? The "OIL" dummy light or the light that's on the oil pressure gauge?

It could be your oil pressure sending unit. They've been known to go bad.

It's a good idea to check your oil often. Every day wouldn't be a bad idea...

If that light comes on you are in bad shape Please check into this. I would check your oil to begin with and let us know.

yeah...that's BAD that your oil pressure light comes on. Do you have an aftermarket oil pressure gauge?

No what im worried about is that my apex seals have leaked. I mean is 2000 miles enough for oil to drop low or is there a leak somewhere

umm...If your "apex seals" leak, then you have a blown engine. No questions asked...

How does your car start? Does it sputter on or does it start automatically? Also, do you have an aftermarket boost gauge? The needle should be steady. If it wiggles, then you may have a blown engine...but I don't think you do.

These cars consume oil(injects oil into the combustion chhamber). If you are waiting for the light to come on to check your oil you are ruining your engine. Check the oil often an fill add more when needed.
