Question Oil Catch Can

I was thinking of purchasing the Cusco oil catch can, but I'm not sure if it's worth purchasing. Should I just stay away from this modification?

There is some good info on oil catch cans here:

http://www.scuderiaciriani.com/rx7/oil.html#CAN

http://www.rx7turboturbo.com/robrobinette/pcv.htm

Honestly my opinion is that they are unecessary unless you track the car hard and often.

Yeah or if you like to spit alot of oil. Its really for those who are heavily heavily modified that run thier cars very hard often and looking for something else to mod It wouldnt really do anything for most cars.

I have that EXACT oil catch can. It's supposed to work with the JDM FD's since it sits next to the brake master cylinder on my car. Bolts right up and looks nice. Absolutely NO need unless you're running track or are HEAVILY modified.

If you're worried about oil...just use some silicone hose and a pepsi bottle

Is your FD stock?
If it is, you won't need it and you are better off doing other mods first.

Ed

PS I have to Greddy oil catch can which I am modifying to make into a oil reservoir for the OMP. I'll call it Oil Batch Can
