Oh my I bought an FD

I cant believe it I bought an FD, its a 1994 R2, silver with black suede interior, with only 49,000 miles on it. Its is one clean car, no dents nice paint, Peter Farrell computer, exhast, intake, and intercooler.

Now I have the complete set SA, FC, FD and a D21.

Yes. The R2's only came in Black, Red, and Silver.

On that note, the production #s for 94 R2s are 156 Reds, 156 Blacks, and 83 Silver Stone Metallic. The numbers plummit (read: more rare) in 95: 23 Red R2's, 18 Black R2's, and only 16 Silver Stone Metallic R2's.

Welcome to the club, and congrats on the EXCELLENT purchase. Welcome to the R2 club too. I have one of the 156 Black 94 R2's myself Enjoy!

EDIT: I am very curious where you picked up such a fine machine...

Im not really new to the forum.

Ive been to Seven stock 3 times "and loved every one thanks bern and the crew" and cant wait to go back, it was going to be with my vert but now that I have a sweet FD, im reconsidering for number 8.

Im not going to disclose price, but what do you think its worth? This old saying again!

It will take me a couple of days for pics but the car is super clean, I still cant find any paint flaws or dents and im ****, about dents i know ill cry when she gets her first dent.

And I cant belive Ive had three offers to trade FD for FD, why?

Also no rx8 for me unless its the sweet 3 rotor vesion, that was at racing beat last year, when they were putting on the new nose.

That seems awful low - do you mean numbers sold in the US, or did they really make stuff all R2's?

Congrats on the purchase champ

R2's were a US thing. Like in Canada, they had diff packages, mixed and matched what we have. But yea those #s are production numbers for R2s ONLY in 94 and 95. Obviously, they made base, touring, etc those years as well

Umm...49K original miles, lightly modded, in excellent condition...I'd say it could fetch 17 - 18K
