Curious where you got it quoted? I've found fairly drastic price differences between companies. The last part I had 3d printed in aluminum I got quotes from $1k to $150.

I used craftcloud recently and it was only like $75 for a custom designed catch can bracket.

Some random Japanese 3D printing company. I think this was actually on the cheaper side. But it was like $1,300 when I was willing to pay maybe $100.

The other company I tried to get a quote from said it was too big for their machine.

All it was is a bit of intercooler piping...

The material alone apparently costs about $190 per kg.

Has anyone scanned the e-brake surround/base?

The LHD and RHD bases are different sizes despite the ebrake handle being in the same location.

Ah, good to know. I didn't realize that. I wonder if it's due to the RHD center console being shorter.

Also, another idea of something to print. I've always wanted this in a different color and didn't think about printing being an option until now. Does anyone have this file?

I think it is due to the positioning of the two warning light buttons on LHD.

Borrowed a buddy’s fuse box cover and decided to jump into cad design for the first time ever. Also first time 3D printing. Purchased a Centauri carbon and got to work. Here’s my first prototype.

Does anyone know the exact dimensions of the three bolt holes where the stock front tie downs bolt on?

I would like to engineer some decent splitter mounts in case the random *** brackets I bought from the hardware store aren't sturdy enough.

Do you not like these mounts, or haven't seen them?

I have seen them, but shipping would probably cost half as much as the price. I figure I could make something for a quarter of that price.

Damn, I just looked and they're $100 more than when I bought them four years ago.

I'm guessing by your comment you're currently in Japan? lol

Yeah, that's not even counting tarrifs.
I'm never going to be able to afford a trailer for my car at this rate.
Wife would kill me if I bought one, anyway...

Finally got a good model finished for the entire driver-side door plastic that you can print! Make sure when you put it into your slicer you cut it with a dovetail. (I cut mine just under the mirror control switch)

(You can also see the revised map pocket lid in the pics )

Does anyone have 3d scans / models of the pedals themselves? I just watched this video on DIY forged carbon parts and I sort of want to try replacing non-structural metal parts with carbon fiber.

I figure if I get a model, I can create a mold from that, send it to a 3d printing company to print for me (if it's relatively large), and then try making it myself out of carbon fiber. Seems fairly easy once the mold is created. Forged carbon fiber pedals would be a sick party trick (I'd have to put some anti-slip on them I guess)
