since I only joined the forum after the passing of chirs, can someone point out which car was his? am I correct in assuming it's the one in the front of the group in the big group picture?
Negative, this is the X-Treme Rotaries assembly to which Roan can get them for you. He hs the east coast distributor for them, you can contact him on here under speed_NYC. They are very similar to the Pro-Jay manifold and E&J Autoworks ones, however the 'top hat' is vastly different in terms of the v-band discharge. For my next engine, I am getting the X-Treme Rotaries p-port rotor housings and X-Treme Rotaries center bearing e-shaft. In my opinion, they offer some of the best products out there:

OMG you're right! Considering FDs are Japanese that is pretty weird.

No worries friend. I think I will be Roan's best customer in the coming year. I finished paying off my car loan this month and figured I would be able to drop $2500 a month give or take. I was going to get a Ford Raptor, but decided to keep my daily driver. Think everything from the Racing Beat cataloge, including the aluminum housings with everything else from Xtreme Rotaries. Not sure if I wanna go e85 20b or not...

don't get a ford. That thing will brake down on you before you hit 30k miles. The only thing ford builds tough its their commercials.

based on research I've done, the Fusion is pretty damn reliable, in some cases lasting 250,000+ miles.

I am not sure of the new ford line up but I have owned a number of American vehicles mostly pick up trucks and all fall appart fairly quickly, what bothers me most (specially ford and chevy) is the terrible plastic interiors that look so cheap but is seems like they got back on track on the 2010 F150 let's see what happens. But I wouldnt go spend 40k+ on a new ford truck just yet.

My wife's 2009 model actually has Mazda stickers on the 5sp auto transmission!Ford still own more than 10% of Mazda(it was over 30%),they just don't have operating control anymore.
The 2.5l engines and transmissions in the Mazda 6(built in Flat Rock,Mi) and the Ford Fusion(built in Mexico are mechanically the same.

Here's a video of the Club RX Quebec contingent's ice cream run . . . just before the raffle.

Thanks for the tip Gordon, the ice cream was awesome. Can't wait 'till next year to try some more flavors.
