Smile Offer accepted, RX-7 should be mine Friday

Went and test drove the car, ran a Carfax on it and it really does only have 29k miles I test drove it for about 30 mins, freeway and around town, didnt miss a beat. The guy changed the oil every 2000k miles and has all reciepts to prove it, too It was always cooled down for at least a minute everytime he drove it. We settled on a price of $15,500 and i gave him a deposit My loan should go through on Thursday, will pick the car up friday and post some pics!!!

A comrpession test on a 29K motor? I say save your money. As long as it can be proven that the receipts say that a reman or a rebuild was really put into that car.

no, the motor is the origonal motor with 29k miles on it. Carfax confirmed it.

I don't think carfax would know if they put in a new motor. I'll go put on a new motor in my car and how would the hell carfax know about it.

no, it just confirmed there has been no rollback on the odometer, which reads 29k.

15.5k for a 29k miles FD...wow, either Boise is really cheap area or you got a really good deal. you probably can easily get 20k in cali for yours. how's everything else besides the engine?

My vote is for a compression test...you never know when they could pop, and the guy could have driven the **** out of it at the track every weekend for 29k miles. Besides, its cheap peace of mind, and you can use it to bargain down if it comes back so-so.

Let's think about this:

"I Killed Tupac" is your screen name.

"I Killed Every Boy Band on the Earth" is your style.

You are from Idaho.

So, the question becomes, do we now have a "White Supremist" on the RX7 Forum?
