does it really matter if its oem or not want to change mine soon

I opted for the wix fuel filter, from what little information I read about it seems to be okay, of course if a better brand like K&N had one available I probably would've gotten that one instead.
The way I see it, as long as your change it routinely the auto parts store one's shouldn't cause any problems, there isn't exactly much to a fuel filter anyways.

OEM or performance aftermarket. I've had issues getting enough fuel pressure with some of the generic autoparts store brand ones.
