oem cd player problems...

I Have a 94 rx7 that is all stock, when i bought it the cd player didnt work. You put a cd in and it takes a few seconds and spits it out. Well I took it out and took it apart and cleaned it really well, but it didnt do a thing. Well i got a cd player that worked but when i installed it into my car i did what the other one did... so can you help me figure it out?

If you're interested in having it repaired there are places that work on the stock units. This is one of them.
