My car has a real odd boost problem. First gear wont boost at all under hard accelleration. If I give it light throttle between 3 and 4k there will be a moo that sounds like it comes from the driver side and then it will spike 11lbs. If it doesn't moo somestimes it wont even boost second gear. Anyone ever experience this? I checked all the vac lines under the uim and they were all good. I still don't know where the moo would come from. I still have the stock air box, but abv and crv vented to atmosphere. For some reason 3rd and 4th gear don't need the make the moo sound to boost. Would a crv make that sound if it was going bad?

 

I was getting funning moo sounds when I had a couple of bent vanes on my primary turbo.. it was still boosting OK though...

 

what do you mean by vanes?

 

I think he meant fans? I dunno. I don't see how a bent turbine could still boost, and not blow its self up......
