Nuts!

I'm looking to replace the dull black (and 1 missing) nuts that secure the throttle body to the UIM. Does anyone know what the stainless acorn nut size to use - thread size & type?
Is there an usual size to rmove these nuts from the throttle body? Metric or standard is either too big or small...so I say WTFO?!

I've yet to find a source for the chrome acorn nuts that are 100% right. Mazda doesn't make them any more as far as I know, too.

I have seen metric acorn nuts that don't look right and usually take a wrong-size tool (like a 3/8" or something instead of 10mm).

I believe the nuts are 6mm x 1.0, if memory serves. It's definitely a 6mm fastener.

Best bet is to just find some used, if possible.

The nuts for the throttle body to the uim are not 6x1 mm . That is the size for the elbow to the throttle body. The ones you need are 8x1.25 mm. I use toyota valve cover nuts ,part no 90176-08041
