Damn those are nice! I hope you have your 3rd motor built well. Or at least the right tune. I'd hate to see an apex seal f&ck up one of those housings! Good luck!

wow that looks amazing !

One thing I don’t understand, how did they get that finish on there? Did they use special equipment? I can’t imagine they went from 80grit to 1200 sand paper that must have taken them ages!

I have polished parts in my engine bay but never come out as bling as that.

Am I missing something? Maybe I need to put in more elbow grease.

your housings look fantastic tho.

LOL well i been like super duper lazy..then i thought about how i dont want to screw around with my perfect idle cause i know i will **** something up and ill regret putting this in..

im still debating if i should just go ahead and put this in or take it to a shop and pay them the 50 bucks to do it..

I don't know about you but I always feel better if I screw it up instead of paying someone to screw it up for me. If they would do it for $50 I'm guessing something will deffinately get screwed up for that price LOL Are you running a PFC ??? if so you can get the exact TPS setting you have on the TB your running now and just set the polished one up with the same numbers before you put it on the UIM.

more than likely they use blasting media of differing grit (i.e. glass bead, walnut shell)

haha no its not exactly 50 bucks, im just assuming its that much..is it supposed to be more?? and no i dont have a PFC yet..

and the shop i go to is a reputable shop, known for their crazy swaps and the infamous 900hp 20b rx8, also the builder of red-rx7's 20b beast..

and if i mess it up, that means i have to fiddle with it, cant drive it and if i still cant get it right, tow it to a shop and have them do it which i should have done the first time..

thats why sometimes i rather pay to have it done 1 time and its right..
