Not your typical boost problem (I searched)
Ok, I know how stupid some people look when the write that they have boost problems. I have had my fair share but this one is really getting to me.
I went to a track day on Sat and Sun and the car ran phenominal except for one irritating boost problem. What happens is that when I run down a short straight that goes into a hairpin I stay in the same gear. Well my boost is up and has a good transition on the way up but when I let it drop down to 3k to make the hairpin the primary never comes back. Until I reach 4500 again I have no boost. Second isn't the only gear that it happens in but it is the one that I let the car stay in the most through turns and autocrossing. What is wierd is that as soon as I push in the clutch and re-engage the same gear...bam...the primary is back. Does anybody know what might cause this problem...Is it a problem? Thanks for listening and any insight would be appreciated.
All in all I know that it isn't the biggest boost problem but it definately keeps me from running my best times.

I have had the same issue, and as much as I would like for it not to be true, I think it is ment to do that. Others and myself have found that it stays in sequential mode until you fall below 3K. This is a shitty design IMO, and it also makes me wonder how going non sequential will feel. I would hate for that to be there all the time.

You do not have a problem
Spooledup7 is correct. Once you go above 4500, the RPM's have to go back below 3K before the system will start into sequential mode again. In other words, it stays in parallel mode, which almost feels like no boost.
Driving style and shift points are your only solution.

Thanks for the insight. I wish I could get it to drop back down again but if that is how it is I guess I am going to have to adapt. I guess now i am going to have to learn to downshift to first. Maybe then I can replace its syncro. LOL Thanks again!
