It does look like it was a blast! As long as it wasn't my car, I am okay with it.

Nice! snow/ice racing is what i love most about the winter. good tires > any other factor (except the driver) when racing on those surfaces. being a novice driver on cheap all-seasons, i was recently beaten by a huge margin by a skilled driver running the right tires on his Prius (along with just about every other 2wd car there, lol), despite the fact that my mitsubishi has twice as much power and twice as many drive wheels!

i can't tell if it's snow or ice, but if it's ice and you feel like getting really crazy, get some FC wheels, costco snow tires and some ice racing screws. there's almost always either some rally america or hillclimb cars that come to our events on screws, and it's incredible to watch. for example, last event, a hillclimb car completed the course in 75% of the time taken by the second fastest car (a miata- driver and tires again!), and 50% of the time taken by the slowest.

Not much much chance of shots like that in the UK so far. Not one days snow yet and butterflys in the garden......... in January mid winter ?????

No car is scary in the snow, you drive within the cars and your capabilities with the right tyres and its a buzz.
