If he has change it to solid it`s much better than it was, wouldnt need to be nervous about that...

Lars, props on a well-thought out and well-engineered build. I did a 'similar' project to a lesser degree but with attention to detail similar to yours. I can say from experience though that polished is a PITA. I have taken my setup apart about 4 times in 2 years and wow, everytime I wish I would have gone with powder coating.

Any moisture will spot up the polished parts. I live in New Orleans so its always humid and it rains quite a bit. Any driving in the rain, you'll be polishing.

I am goig to be pulling my car down in the next few months (after Deals Gap) and I will be annodizing/powdercoating this time around.

Don't get me wrong, nothing has the wow-factor that polished aluminum does, it's just hard to keep it that way.

I look forward to seeing your build completed!

Yes I know about the polished parts getting spots, but u can put some clear coat on them... Then u wont have spot problems...

Zoop Seal works really good for preserving the "just polished" look too.

Brakets for the front suspension almost done, just some grinding left.
I will weld one more tube on there, but have to wait for the engine to go in first..

I was hoping to get some more suspension parts from AtomicRex, but it doesnt look like i will.
Jon won`t replay my messages on MSN either.
