NooB Question: How to read vaccum from the Boost Gauge?
Hi Everybody:
Sorry if this question is a newbie type of question, but I recently bought a 93 RX7 Auto, and I got a greddy 52mm mechanical boost gauge installed. This is my first turbo car and i'm aware of the 10-8-10 boost pattern for the turbo, but I was wondering how to read my boost gauge to see what my vaccum pressure is. What should my vaccum reading be for a stock RX7 in Park or D?

In Park or D? or it doesn't matter? Cool man, you live in Elmhurst? I got buddys in that area...
shouldnt be as long as you at the same rpm. P,N, D any of them should be fine for the testing. I'm guessing you Greddy is metric like mine is so your going to be reading it in mm of hg. With that in mind around 400mmhg should be fine.

you gotta remember Neutral is about the same as the clutch in on a manual...
having the auto in drive is like having a manual in gear and letting the clutch out just a tad to where it barely bites.
