Non vented hood vs Vented with V mount
Has anyone got any link/done any tests with this? I've currently got an aftermarket vented hood with my V mount but i prefer the stock body one. I'm worried about temps though.
Everyone seems to have a strong opinion one way or the other, but i can't find any actual test data proving either to be more effective/equally effective.
I'm trying to work out if the air exits more through the rear undersdie of the bay, or tends to exit the hood. Or whether the hood vents only really work at low speed.
For infor, the car has a 99 spec front end with a Koyo rad and V mounted XSP IC (with proper ducting fabbed out of alloy) anda MS undertray.
Cheers in advance
