non sequential vs sequential?
the 3rd button from the right says "Search" you should try it sometime
no offence man, but this is one of if not THE most discussed topic in the 3rd Gen section. everything you want to know is already here, now go find it

So you are thinking about doing a non-sequential conversion but you don't know why?
Despite the fact that all the cool kids are doing it, this is by far the most pointless modification that you could make to your FD. It made some sense back in the '90s when there was not enough information out there to properly debug a broken sequential system. Now it is primarily a lame newbie fashion statement and, if the number of I-simplified-my-rat's-nest-and-now-my-turbos-are-weird posts are anything to go by, 90%+ of these conversions completely **** up the turbo control system.

sequential will give you more power down low, but won't peak as high (very marginal), retains complex sequential system. VERY responsive
Non-sequential = just go single, there is no point in running parallel twins with the stock restrictive manifold. You are only losing efficiency.
and to all of those people that rant and rave about their non-seq... get over it. it's true.
so the real question is: keep twins (and learn the sequential system) or go single?
