non-sequential problem?

don't know the problem is but, I could boost past 10psi, and when the turbos comes on line, it make a very loud wind noise, almost like a semi-truck's. I just took the intercooler piping and the intake off, and couldn't find anything wrong with it. I spin the turbo blade, and it spins freely with no noise??? did my turbo **** on me already???

How many miles on the turbo?

How many miles on the turbo?
Did you just eleminate lots of vaccum hoses to make non-seq?
Or, you actually welded the turbo precontrol plate (on turbo) and turbo control plate (on exhaust manifold)?
did you secured all the bolts and nuts after the conversion to non-seq?

I had that kind of noise, but after I changed it to non-seq, that noise has gone.
Now, I can boost up to 13-14 psi all the way to the redline.

If you just disabled vaccum hoses, try it harder way, weld it.

I've been running non-sequential for about a year now, and the turbo has about 66,000 miles on it . I didn't weld any on it, I only used hangers to hold the wastegate control arm and pre-control arm. When I check the arm on the pre-control, it was kind of loose, I forgot which way that it suppose to be?.. other than that everything seems fine...
