And are you sure your fuel pump keeps running whenver the key is on? Shutting off after a second is a symptom of disconnected/broken wirh to fuel pump resistor.

the ignitor is plugged in... there was another heat sink looking thing that the wires were burnt on... the one under the brake booster that has 2 wires going into it.

if I leave the key on without cranking, pump stays on...with the relay mod.

...I just pulled the harness to the engine, the stupid thing has small breaks in it everywhere... anyone have a better one laying around?!?

The one under the brake booster will cause a start then stop symptom if unplugged.

That explains a lot. So, a bunch of the wires in that area are cut, is there a diagram or something for that harness that shows wire colors. I guess I'll check the fsm...

I put the car on eBay, pretty fed up with it...

I want the car to be right for the next buyer, so if anyone can shoot me a pic of the brake booster so I can identify those wires, that would be awesome sauce!

According to this thread...(https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generati...ation-1078377/)
the thing that I need wires colors to is the fuel pump resistor.

I just downloaded the manuals, so maybe I'll be able to hunt them down.

The funny thing is the stock ecu will run the car for a couple seconds without it plugged in, and the power fc wont give fuel at all with all the factory relays in place...weird

Blue/red and white/red were the wire colors, the harness was cut there by former ownership... Soldered in the resistor, bam. Power FC now gives the car fuel, and it fires right up!! I only let it idle like 30sec because its late and the car is load, but it seemed to hesitate when I gave the car fuel... to be continued...

Thanks turboIIrotary, I never would have connected the dots because I didnt know the heat sink thingy was in fact the fuel resistor... just another thing in the parts box I got with the car... All the pics on the forum have been great for helping me identify and put things where they are suppose to go, but some things are still pretty foggy...
