non-sequential on an auto, yes or no

alright guys ive been getting a 10-5-5 boost pattern for quite some time. from what ive heard going non-sequential should get rid of my boost problems so i can finally feel the fury of both turbos functioning properly. my only concern is that b/c my car is an auto how bad will lag be, i can deal with some, but not a ridiculous amount. i already know the car is poo off the line and i have no problem with the fact i cant do much of anything until about 2500-3000ish. on a non sequential set up how long would it be (roughly) until i reach full boost. anyway thanks for the help.

Don't go non-sequential. Fix the problem. It sounds like you have a boost leak or there's a problem with your charge relief valve. Your primary sounds good.

check out this page, especially the secondary turbocharger section about half way down.

I've been non-seq for a few years now. It's great, IMO, but only if you modify your driving style and you use your gears more to keep the rpms up (so you can minimize lag).

With an auto, I don't think you will have the same control...not too mention there are fewer gears. I wouldn't recommend going non-seq with an auto tranny.

Hope this info helps and good luck with the boost problems.
