NON-SEQ problems....

I went NON-SEQ following Rikki's instructions.

I have a PFC and did switch the electrical plugs (altho it doesn't seem to make a difference). Here is what I'm experiencing...

With the PFC set to SEQ I'll build boost to about 3-4lbs and then when I hit ~4500 I quickly build up to about 7lbs and hold steady till redline.

With the PFC set to NONSEQ it acts the same except RIGHT when it gets to about 7lbs it CUTS.... almost like a revlimit or somthing.

Another thing to note... I did (just for kicks) switch it to use the wastegate hardlines and what I experienced then was like 0-1lbs boost till ~4500 or so then it would QUICKLY build to 11-12lbs and hold steady.

I have double and triple checked all the hoses... I'm using the precontrol hardlines (to the precontrol) pluged into the left selonid and the electrical connectors swaped (altho like I said it doesn't seem to make a diff).

I was having a problem before the switch where my CCA was not closing the butterfly on the y-pipe and I figured what the heck... NONSEQ disables that thing so why not give it a shot.

I'm guessing there is somthing else wrong in the system but I'm just wondering from this diagnoses what I should check next. If no one has any ideas I'll just end up ripping off the top of the block again and checking every hose and senoloid

tia,
Chris

Sorry I replied so late.. It really sounds like something with the solenoids is mixed up... connectors, hoses, something. I would keep checking those. Another possible might be the Charge Relief Valve leaking, did you hook that up in the same line as the Air Bypass Valve? I know my Charge Relief Valve was leaking so I just removed it... not because of the hookup just because it was old.
