Non Seq noise!

I went real Non Seq and now i am hearing a really loud noise right as i get to about 2 LBSof vacuum. It sounds like a party blower, and i havent gone pass 2 LBS of vacuum. Its kinda feels like its wont hold boost. Im waiting on a haltech so i can start boosting it! Has anyone had this problem before? Thanks
Marc

I know that non-seq setup is supposed to be a hell of a lot louder than seq. Though the sound you're describing doesn't seem right to me. You may be right about the BOP. If it's not sealed right then you could be leaking boost out of there and making a whistling type of sound. Run a thin bead of silicone around them and then re-bolt them. I'm not an expert, but hopefully the silicone idea will help some. And BTW did you mean pulling 2 in of Hg(vacuum) or were you boosting 2 lbs?? Best of luck to you. Laterz.

Because you remove a door in the wastegate that is closed under part throttle operation.
