Non-seq. boost problem?!

At idle and normal driving the car is fine. But when you get on the gas(try to boost), the turbo's spool to 0psi on the boost gauge and stay there. Because of this the engine trips over itself and chugs and bawgs, sputtering/backfire. I'll try and get a vid up showing exactly what is happening. I have a "home depot" boost controller and no matter what I set it at the car still does this. If you have any ideas or want to help, please respond to this thread or pm me.

Thanks,

Andrew
