Non-Seq, aftermarket BOV questions

Ok so im in the process of going non-sequential. I though hey might as well replace the BOV too. But had a couple quick questions.

Currently from stock there are 2 devices that look both like BOV's. One sits further back and one sits more foward.

1. If i was to get an aftermarket BOV which one do i replace?

2. If i replace one can i just cap off the other and not use it?

3. If i did replace one, would it be the more foward one?

4. If i did replace the more forward one, how the hell would i mount it to the manifold that currently has a rubber hose there?

Thanks i read about 10 threads of BOV stuff but they were mostly about sound.

1 is a CRV one is a BOV

Firewall
-CRV-------
-------BOV-
Bumper

The rest depends on what you are getting. If you are install a universal on a flange on your IC piping then you remove the BOV and cap it. Or else kit's come with a flange that goes into the original tubing.

Get in there and it is only logical.

here's what i did when i went non-seq:

welded up everything on the Y pipes and move my stock BOV to the throttle-body elbow

What elbow is that one? Also I heard that its better to put the BOV closer to the source of the charged air, does it really matter?

Obviously you don't know how to read text or interpret images. I don't think there is anything anyone can do to help you further.

Pardon my being rude but pick the "fu*&ing" bov's off, one has CRV written on it THAT IS NOT THE ONE YOU REMOVE!!!

**** off. sorry im not a ******* rotary guru. this is why i am a member of this forum, to learn and seek advice and help about a car that i think is worth the trouble. Have I been working around rotary engines and had parts all over my garage for years? NO so STFU, Im sure when you first started with rotaries you didnt know what you know now, so give us new guys a break when someone is asking for honest help jackass.

I may not know all about rotaries like you portray your self to do, however im sure there are plenty of subjects i would run circles around you in. So have some respect for some people that are trying to learn.

The fact that you can neither read nor interpret images has nothing to do with your or mine or anyone else's "rotary" knowledge.

Also, a blowoff valve has no relation to the rotary engine.

I strongly recommend you download, print out and read the Factory Service Manual. Whenever working on something use it as a reference to situate yourself within the car and aquaint yourself with the terms used when talking about the car.

If you're going full non-seq then you'll be removing the butterfly from the y-pipe which is attached to the charge relief valve (CRV, the bov looking thing on the rear of the y pipe). After butterfly removal, you to use the CRV just like a secondary BOV (secondary to the air bypass valve [ABV], which is the bov lookin' thing from the crux of the y pipe). These two bovs can then be re-routed back into the intake tract as they were originally or they can be released to the atmosphere if you really want the pssh noise. If you decide to get an aftermarket BOV (which will give you no added functionality) then you can cap both the CRV and ABV and place the new BOV in the elbow attached to the throttle body or the piping from the IC (two of the most common places, but certainly not the only ones). it's the stock elbow.

if it helps or not...thats a debatable question.
