noise in rear end...clicking at low rpms

Ok, I can't figure out what this noise is. When my car is cold and i go i start to go in 1st gear, i can hear a clicking type of noise. I've checked for loose items in the trunk area, and thats not the problem. This noise sounds like it may be coming from the suspension/rear wheel area, or maybe the diff.

I just dropped my car off at John Hine Mazda in San Diego. Has anyone had this problem with their rx-7? Hopefully my extended warranty will cover this, whatever the problem is...

Is it a low thud kind of noise, or a high metallic sound? If it's a low thud when you'r putting it into gear, it's most likely your differential bushings. If the noise happens when you're already in gear, it could be your toe links(as mazdaspeed00 said), or it could be your A-arm bushings. If it's the A-arm bushings, the noise will happen when you get on and off throttle(more noticebly at low rpms) but getting consistently worse with the more miles you do.
If it's higher pitched noise, you might start looking into the condition of your dif., which I don't have any experience in dealing with, as it is just about the only thing that hasn't broken on my 7.
Good luck
