Noise from ac Fans?

All of a sudden, we have a noisy ac/heater fan whenever it's on 3 or 4.

Just started recently. Still blows air, but sounds off -- seems to be coming from the passenger side of the cabin?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

what kind of noise? Grinding noise plastic against plastic? Or more like, "leaf-caught-in-the-fanblade" noise?

Probably sucked some debris into the fan. If so it should eventually go away. Otherwise you will have to pull the blower motor and investigate.

Could be debris. More of a hum or vibration noise. Definitely noticeable on 4.

Is the blower motor hard to pull? I see in the FSM that it says to pull the dash?
Really don't want to pull the dash, things are brittle enough to end up with a list
of fixes if I do.

Any other way to get to the squirrel cage? Or is there a way to get a vacuum into an area that might pull out any debris?

Thanks.
