My 3rd gen just decided to quit on me on the way to work one day. It killed the Alternator and Battery, both of which have been replaced. Plug wires and plugs have been replaced. (Magnecor 10's and NGK 9's in every hole) Even with a jumper car, and 13-14 volts before cranking, when the key is turned, 7-8 volts max (per the PFC). I know the sensors and relays won't switch on at that low of a voltage, so I know it won't crank until I find the culprit. Any ideas? Thanks.

The water thermosensor that I just replaced this weekend would affect your air fuel ratio (causing it to run boggy, rich, etc.) if it was faulty and would not affect the kind of electrical power loss you are describing. What you are looking for would be some kind of electrical thing, like wires, fuses, etc. I am sorry I cannot be more specific, perhaps someone else who has had this problem can comment. Bump, good luck
