No sound from right speaker?

Just noticed that we've lost the passenger side audio. When I move the sound right to left, there is nothing there on the passenger side.

Bose system, so I'm thinking that it's possibly the amp in the passenger door, any other thoughts?

thanks

It would be odd to have individual amps in doors, most car makers wouldn't do that. The possible exposure to water would be too great. If this is a factory radio, the external amp is probably under passenger seat. If one side goes out, there are a couple possible issues: head unit blew a side (replace), wires disconnected (reconnect), blew speaker (replace), or you have a short (pain in the ***). Take off door panel and check wire connections. If they are intact, connect another speaker and see if you get sound. If you don't, the problem will be wiring or head unit. Head units are usually good with outliving the rest of an auto, so you should take out head unit see if you have burnt smell- this would be head unit. Since the wires if factory are within a harness it would be hard to just replace one- so unless you plan on replacing it and getting a factory harness connector, you will be left with little.

You have absolutely no idea what you are talking about hahahaha there is no amp under our seats...
Most likely it's time to swap out the stock speaker, they are known to get brittle and amp goes out over time. Remove the door panel to inspect the speaker.

To be frank - I have an extensive background wire car audio stereos and advanced audiophiles, and FYI- there was one under mine. I was nearly responding to the questioner's proposal of amps in the door. Not only do speakers get brittle, but wire over time, from hearing an cooling, do also.

Not doubting your experience and knowledge but for this particular case, what you wrote does not apply.

The OP stated that he had a bose system which means that each individual speaker has its own amp.

Who really cares, car is too noisy and the sound system too crappy to even care.

The FD is for driving, not listening to music. Get your priorities straighten out.
