Ok let's get something straight. All Tourings and Base's (usuallu) with a wiper in stock form. R1's do not for 2 reasons. 1) Distracts from R1 styling and 2) weight savings.

The Touring model is the one with it as a "stock" item.
The base model does not have one, but you could get one.
I don't even see the need for one, personally. The airflow and curvature of the glass means you get very little water that stays on it. And if you use a little RAIN-X or equivalent, no problem at all!

Got an R2, and it does not come standard. No R-model did. I like it w/o it look cleaner to me. The rain x works great. I never need to wipe while driving or anything pretty much your preference on the wiper....

Baja is right. The Touring is the only model that came with it. The PEP and PEG's don't even have it.

Yeah, they look a bit dopey. Glad my R1 doesn't have one. I don't think any of them should have had them.

I guess I do look rearward sometimes to see all the Honda boys!

No wiper for my base. One less thing to break and less wiper fluid in the back.

Daily driver here! I hate driving in the rain but have been caught in several huge t-storms and it's not a problem at all. I think the aerodynamics play a big role.

Sure, a wiper would be better but if the rains get to heavy, you should keep your eye on the road in front of you.

WRONG.

Tourings only. No Base models, R1, R1, PEG, PEP have rear wipers.

A rear wiper IS NOT an option on any model, standard on Tourings ONLY.
