No primary boost?

As stated the car has no boost untill the secondary kicks in at 4K - 4.5K then it hits like a sledge hammer. Why is there no primary and where do i start to look for problems, other then the search button.

Thanks,

hi there,,,ive been doing a lot of research into the twin turbo set up and operation,,,
read through this.
http://www.autosportracetech.com/RX-...leshooting.htm

As a good place to start maybe the charge control actuator is staying open and venting all the primary boost out of the air bypass valve for the 2nd turbo. let me know if you need more details

The quickest way to check the CCA is the KOKO test. http://www.fd3s.net/boost_test.html
