That was a Mazda dealer accessory, I've seen them pop up on Ebay every now and then. I don't think they are available new any more but I could be wrong, most of those dealer accessories aren't around any more.

You could probably make something that would do the trick pretty easily, it's not a very complicated part.

Just an FYI. I ordered some new drivers side door hinges just in case I can’t adjust mine to my satisfaction. Unfortunately the lower hinge is back ordered. I have to assume that is the more likely of the 2 to get bent over time.
Hopefully it’s not NLA and eventually ships.

did you order from ray ? When I spoke to him a month ago he said the lower one is NLA

Might want to check with amayama.com or one of the other Japan-based suppliers about the hinge.

I have the updated door seal mentioned in this thread on my driver side, the door still requires a good firm pull with follow-through to close...
