ok i have just bought this 94 rx7 and it has:
-exhuast, dp/mp
-intake
-streetport
-fmic
-pop off valve.
-bov
looking for a ecu asap, just wondering if the motor will be ok if i drive it around lighty (no ripping **** up) for say a few weeks? or should i just park it and wait till i get a ecu?

You can drive it just fine, just don't go full boost or even close. The pov should help control the boost spikes but you would still run lean at stock boost levels.

 

i know i would run lean if i full boost it. so i guess its fine untill i get that ecu just cruzing hehe

Do you have a boost gauge? If not you should know that you can hit high boost very easy in a higher gear, say cruising in 5th on the highway and 3/4 throttle it to speed up. It won't feel like alot though.

 

yea i got a boost gauge and a egt gauge. whats the egt gauge for? i know it measure exhaust temp but what does it mean to have a high exhaust temp?
also what is 1.0bar i have heard 14.7psi and 14.5? whats the formula? thanks again

 

1bar should be 14.7

EGT will tell you if the exhaust gets to hot, so you don't fry the turbos/motor.
