no cluster lights no crank after going single
hey guys just finished my single turbo upgrade and have a few questions. i hooked up all connectors and grounds and made sure everything is how it supposed to be and when i go to crank the car there no cluster lights, no crank. im puzzled since i double checked everything 2x. when i do put the key in the idnition it has that 1st set of beep when the door is open but thats it. my horn headlights lights work though still. theres a black connector near my engine harness that is unplugged. i have no idea where it came from but it has 4 or wires on it. could this be the reason? i can take a pic if it helps.
any help would be awesome, thanks in advance
ps: yes ived searched

1- what was the turbo you are currently using
2- are you using an intercooler
3- could you possibly put up some pictures of where you found it and the connector itself (thier is alot of black bonnectors on the rx-7)
4- I know this sounds dumb but is your starter and starter wires all hooked up
5- check all your fuses and make sure none are out or burned

From what you are describing, the starter isn't even turning. If the engine isn't even turning how do you know the starter is good?
Check an see if the starter is getting juice when you turn the key (you will need a friend for this). If not, trace back along the main power line from the starter.

i had this problem before with the cluster. it turned out to be a short or a wire not making contact behind my head-unit.
i have no idea wats going on with it not cranking? does sound like it should be a battery problem, i'm surprised its not. i'd take it to a specialist, it prob is an easy fix...maybe something your missing?
