No boost until 4500 RPM

I know I'll get flamed for not searching yet, but as soon as I finish writting this, I will search. Still, I was wondering if anyone knew what is wrong.

I can hear my primary turbo dumping all the air out, and only till I get to 4500 RPM, it is when the car makes full boost.

Thanks

Sounds like your TCA may be stuck where the gate is open. This is similiar to when ppl do the poor man's non sequential and wire the gate open. That would be my guess. It could also be the Charge Control Acuator or... in very rare cases, the butterfly that sits in the ypipe.

^^WaLieN's link is all you'll need. I just recently hooked up my sequential system and had the same problem. Ultimately mine was a faulty pre-control solenoid.

Get yourself a mity-vac to test the solenoids.

That was exactly the link I was looking for but could nto find. I remember using it a while ago to sort a primary turbo issue which ended up being a leak. Thanks

Sounds like a Pre-control problem. I had a similar problem and it ended up being a split vacuum line on the PCA (Precontrol Actuator).
