No boost. Just installed SMIC

hi guys i spent turkey day putting in a blitz SMIC and changing my spark plugs. i also cleaned up some wire mess down my the fusebox by the clutch pedal, inside the car.
now my turbos are not working. no spooling and no boost. the vac gauge goes to 0 and thats it. so my current vac at idle is about 16 or 17 at about 170 F.

there was a funny click click noise coming from some fuse/solenoids by the stock BOV when i disconnected the battery. could these be the problem?
i never messed with any of the turbo intake hoses or anything on that side of the car.

Can you elaborate on "cleaning up some wire mess" by the clutch pedal. We these factory wires or something for an aftermarket part?

ya of course, I triple checked that. I'm not hearing anything from the engine bay area, aside from no spooling, everything sounds fine.

John, I had some loose wires from when my ex had previously re-wired the foglights i had on. So I covered those and then I went through the fuse box making sure all the fuses were good. Thast about it.

I would remove the turbo outlet pipe and rev the engine in neutral to feel the air. You can also here the turbos spool this way. I would also remove the primary turbos inlet pipe to check the spool. If the turbos were working fine before the install, then there is odviously something wrong in a connection somewhere. I would also spray some carb cleaner on all the intake joints to check for leaks. The engine will stumble if there is a leak. Lastly, if you still have the stock TB elbow, make sure that rubber hose near the map sensor is still connected. Mine came loose one time and I also had no boost pressure.

any possabllity you broke one of the nipples off the primary turbo inlet pipe or maybe pinched some other vacuum tubes during the install, not sure what would click when the battery negative lead would have been removed, I've never heard anything like that when I unhook my battery, got any pictures of the install ?? Lastly you didn't by any chance leave something (like a rag) in one of the tubes or perhaps the IC (generally done to keep objects from entering these areas) wouldn't be the first time something like this has happend, I would think the car would run like it had a seriouly clogged air filter. doh i think i found it. the lower coupler from the SMIC to the ypipe wasnt secure. havent tested it yet but i wanted to investigate before it got dark. my coworkers prob think im weird.

Jack- I'll post a pic once i get it 100%. I am going to need suggestions on how to block off that piece in front of the intercooler without it looking ghetto.

LOL, surprised you couldn't hear that ! ! ! Hmmmmm gotten rid of the plastic piece to the air box....still have the stock air box ?? Most people buy a piece of sheet aluminum to cover that area and dress it up, not sure who sells them. Pettit perhaps, probably have to ask around, glad you found it.
