Unhappy no baffle in fuel tank, what problems could this cause?

Took my fuel pump out today to fit a cosmo 20b pump but noticed my baffle plate was completely loose and falling around in the tank(its around 3 feet long and 7 in high with circular holes in it.What sort of problems could this cause or is it nothing to worry about. Thanks for the help Roy uk.

I don't think it will cause any problems as long as you are careful about left turns when you are below 1/4 tank of gas. Might want to put that on the "to do" list though.
