Question no ast??

I couldnt find anything in the archives but was just curious...
my friend bought a '93 rx and we cant seem to find the ast... the car came with a new radiator, the car seems to run just fine... i dont know where else it could be??
if someone knows anything on this let me know, thanks for your time

some eliminate it...because it cracks.

All you need a FC filler neck and cap the bottom radiator nipple and the nipple of the filler neck housing.

Run a search for "ast elim*" There is a kit that makes it easy.

why wouldnt you be able to use the fd filler neck?

The FC fill neck has the nipple for the overflow tank.

I've been running my car since I got it with the AST eliminated - no cooling problems, nothing. But, I do like having an AST and have one comin' - they're a good idea. But, eliminating it is VERY inexpensive (I had the FC fill pedastal around the garage) and it does work.
