Thumbs up Nice little mod

I had some free time on my hands today and decided to do somthing.

For a while I've noticed how much I like the parking lights on corvetts at night, they are really orange and noticeable and look clean. So I figured I might as well do it on my car,

They are alot more noticeable and brighter than the small dinky parking lights, and I think it looks better too... anyways, here is a rough picture of what it looks like, the inside lights are now the turn signal lights.

it looks alot better in person though, this was a bad picture.

I would never. I mean NEVER take off that plastic wind sheild. It makes such a huge difference while I'm driving w/ the sunroof open is not even funny.

You honestly cannot even tell is open because of it. Everyone that has a sunroof needs one of these on their cars, they are great and well worth it if you like driving w/ your sunroof open.

I guess if it's shinier and has more lights it must mean it looks "cooler" and more "active" to other people, right?

adam, he mean't the bike.

**** you clayne if your statement is meant to be sarcastic and make me seem like a ricer. I did it because now I can use my parking light as a real daytime running light, and hell yea it looks cooler. I'm a very conservative person when it comes to me and my FD.

haha 911, they are both YZF's =) Thats the design of the bike, they have the yzf r1 and the yzf r6.

Sorta like a cbr rr or a cbr 929, but yea same difference.

and im actually selling the bike now

last night i was riding and me and my friend found a dead guy in a ditch who ate **** on his bike, we lifted the bike off of him and had to pull the left handle bar out of his sternum. I've already seen one guy die from trying to do a stoppie and going face over and snapping his neck and saw a dead guy on a major highway who was just in a t-shirt and shorts (serves him right).

Anyways, I've seen enough. So if any of you want an 01 r6 w/ 10,600 miles on it. Regularly matinenced and a new tire, im asking 4,250.

K.

Step by step,

Tehre is a screw in each light. One per cover.

You take out the screw, and pull out the light, the other side is just sorta clipped in there, but not one of those cheap plastic clips that break, it comes out fairly easily

Once you have it out, unhooked the connector that goes to the signal light and the parking light, they both run off one connector.

Now, both lights have a black wire running to them, dont touch these.

You are left w/ two other wires, a green and red... if I remember correctly, anyways, just cut the wires and swap them. You will need a little extra wire to reconnect them, and some of those little blue thible things what ever they are called, the things that you twist and it holds the wires together... and **** this squirel in my wall

guys how can I get this rodent to leave my wall, its managed to make a home in my wall and periodically I hear the thing moving around. It was funny at first when I look outside my window and yell and see a squirell head pop out w/ its beady eyes and look... soryr I"m side tracked, but yea. Its an easy operation and easy to reverse. Do it and see how you like it, Do one light and compare to the origional setup, you will probably be as happy if not happier then I was w/ how it looks and how it actually functions in day time and night time. "FUNCTION" you like that clayne you stupid f "FUNCTION"

and oh yea. Those piias that Im running in that picture, I'm using those instead of the popups till I can afford the rotary extreme headlight conversion. It looks pretty aggressive at night and actually does a better job of lighting than stock. Once again, not only does it look nice but it FUNCTIONS Clayne, so eat a dick

and if your wondering, why dont you just run those and the pop-ups since alot of the fd's came w/ fog/driving lights similar to those... my response is, the coloration difference between the piias and the pop up lights sucks.

The piias are nice and white where as my pop ups are yellow and shitty looking, and I dont want to spend another 80 dollars getting hyper white bulbs for the popups when I only need another 300 to get the headlight conversion. I dont mind waiting

Yeah I know, thats why I said it's the 1000cc version of the YZF, as opposed to the 600cc versions (R6 and 600R). Anyways, sweet bike.
